DURING THIS FIRST WEEK: STUDENTS WILL CHOOSE MONOLOGUES, CUT SONGS TO 1 MINUTE, AND PREPARE BOTH SONG AND MONOLOGUE.

Students will come out of this workshop with a fully prepared, trialed and cleaned up 1 minute monologue and 1 minute song segment to get them prepared for their upcoing auditions in Sept or throughout the year. We will have professional directors Sara Dunlap-Bogan, Drama Teacher and musical director from Mt Si HS, and Ben Bentler, Musical Director/Voice Teacher at Village Theater KidStage, giving a constructive critique of your audition. Students will have the opportunity to perform their audition, clean it up and perform it again! This will be a fun and safe environment to make mistakes, make corrections, and learn a lot about auditioning!
