TAHOMA NATS CHAPTER FALL FESTIVAL

WHAT:

SUPER FUN, SUPER FALL FESTIVAL OPEN MIC EVENT

WHEN:

Saturday, September 20th at 4:00pm

WHERE:

Cascade Voice Academy, 38210 SE 92nd St, Snoqualmie, WA 98065.

WHO:

All Tahoma NATS members and 3 of their students (could be more, depending on number of participating teachers)

WHAT SHOULD I BRING/PREPARE:

-One song (solo/duet/group number) that you LOVE and want to share

-Your Sheet music in the right key or a backing track. All sheet music should be printed double sided, marked with any changes or instructions, and hole-punched

-A dish to share (i.e. potluck picnic style)

-Lawn chairs

-Lots of cheering and support for all the performers. (It's never easy to get up in front of a group. Please keep all comments positive. Let us teachers work on touch-ups during lessons later!)

-Your smile and willingness to have a great time!!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE A ROCKSTAR!!!!!!!!

Something that makes you feel great! Remember you're going onstage. Give yourself time to pick something out and get ready, so that you feel really confident and calm!

SOME DETAILS TO SHARE WITH STUDENTS:

-Even if you aren't performing, feel free to come on by, dance, eat, party, and support the other artists!

-Please stay to watch and support the other musicians who are performing before and after you perform.

-Please arrive warmed up.

-Bring a copy of your sheet music or backing track, just in case.

REMEMBER TO BREATH!

IF ANYONE IS FEELING SUPER DUPER NERVOUS, I'M HAPPY TO GO ONSTAGE WITH YOU AND HANG RIGHT BESIDE YOU AND EVEN HOLD YOUR HAND OR SING WITH YOU OR WHATEVER YOU NEED!

Halloween PARTY!!

We're so excited to hear everyone perform for the SPOOKY backyard party on Saturday, November 1st at 2:00pm, 3pm, and 4pm at Cascade Voice Academy, 38210 SE 92nd St, Snoqualmie, WA 98065.

SOME FINAL DETAILS:

-Even if you aren't performing, feel free to come on by and support the other artists.

-Please stay for your whole time slot to support the other musicians who are performing in your grouping.

-There will be pizza, soda, and s'mores around the fires.

-If it's raining and you have a small canopy, we would welcome you bringing that for the day.

-Singers, please arrive warmed up.

COME AND SING WITH US at Black Dog Cafe in Snoqualmie. This is a very laid back place to make sound in public. Angy will be on keys or you can play your own instrument. We love these events, because they are a wonderful chance to practice performing without any expectations of perfection. Just come and have fun!

Come and watch Shannon and I perform some beautiful music!

This is the next recital in Puget Sounds Piano School’s Instructor Recital series, and will take place on May 10 at 5pm! Shannon Keeler, piano and Angela McGann, mezzo soprano, will be performing a diverse program of Brahms, Debussy, Beech, Albeniz, Price and Lietman.  Hope you can attend, either in person or by tuning into the livestream!
